The student routine at EHL
Let’s discover the daily routine of Ana, EHL student: “As a student, I don’t think there’s any routine. I work on class projects with my teams or assignments, but the subjects are always so different. You don’t get bored! I also take part in some committee meetings. Commitees are student run association : it can be about sports, environnement, or photography for example…and student life is indeed quite exiting and fresh! There’s always something happening on campus, fairs, wine tasting, or a Berceau des sens evening with my friends (gastronomic restaurant on campus)”.
EHL innovative learning methods
Which are the characteristics that make the EHL learning method so innovative and successful? According to Ana, students learn many different subjects in order to be successful in different industries: Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business, Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Real Estate Finance, but also Marketing, Talent Management Systems, Human Behaviour and Performance. Moreover, professors are experienced professionals in different industries.
“We learn by doing. We don’t only sit in a classroom and listen, there are many ways of experiencing and applying what we learn during the lessons. Not to mention the six first month, we have more than 20 workshop when we learn practical skills before starting learning theoretical. This brings a lot of soft skills to students. Thanks to internships and group project. They call it dual education. But also during our last semester we do a consulting project for a real company. I’m looking forward to this!”
