If you’re considering applying to medical school, you have probably already gathered some basic information about St. George’s University (SGU) School of Medicine, in Grenada, but there are many facts that you might not know about. 1. St. George’s University is the largest source of physicians licensed in the US—more than any other medical school in the world1

Most physicians will tell you the United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) Step 1 is the most important test they took during medical school. While choosing a medical school, it’s wise to look into pass rates and average scores across different programs. According to performance data released by USMLE, SGU graduates have 94% USMLE Step 1 pass rate for international first-time test takers over the last three years2
